Equi-Trek Horse Trailer Servicing

Horse trailers should be serviced every year to ensure they remain safe for both the owner and horse also ensuring that all legal requirements are met under the current road transport legislation.

Equi-Trek Maidenhead are able to offer full servicing and repairs at our workshop, alternatively we also have a mobile vehicle to carry out horse trailer servicing and minor repairs. We are a fully accredited NTTA member and our technicians are fully trained and work to a high quality of workmanship. We carry out servicing and repairs to all models of Equi-Trek trailers including Trail Treka, Space Treka, Show Treka, Star Treka, Western Treka, Multi Treka and Carriage Treka.

Our mobile trailer service covers but not limited to the following areas: Windsor, Maidenhead, Taplow, Dorney, Eton, Burnham, Slough, Langley, Reading, Twyford, High Wycombe, Basingstoke, Newbury, Thatcham, Theale, Wokingham, Staines, Richmond, Didcot, Henley-on-Thames, Marlow and Cookham.

** PLEASE NOTE – Mobile servicing charges are based on a 25 mile radius from our premises in Taplow. We can of course still come out to you if you are further afield and are happy to quote you for this. Please call our office and one of the team will be happy to help you.

The above prices exclude any additional parts and materials required during the service. 

During a service we will check:

  • Lighting
  • Visual Inspection of Chassis and Components
  • Condition of Coupling including damper, breakaway cable, hand brake and grease where applicable
  • Wheels and tyres as well tyre pressure
  • Hubs and wheel bearings
  • Brake shoes, expanders & adjusters
  • Bearings are re-packed with clean grease if required
  • All brakes are adjusted as required
  • Check the condition of floor in horse areas and the ramp
